A WARNING – IGNORE AT YOUR PERIL!

A warning against adultery and idolatry in all its forms, and this includes false doctrine.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Proverbs 9:10 NKJV

Proverbs 6:32-33

But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding:he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonour shall he get;and his reproach shall not be wiped away.

Proverbs 7:1-20 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live;and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: that they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. For at the window of my houseI looked through my casement, and beheld among the simple ones,I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, passing through the street near her corner;and he went the way to her house, in the twilight, in the evening,in the black and dark night: and, behold, there met him a womanwith the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. She is loud and stubborn;her feet abide not in her house: now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner. So she caught him, and kissed him,and with an impudent face said unto him, I have peace offerings with me;this day have I payed my vows. Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning:let us solace ourselves with loves. For the goodman is not at home,he is gone a long journey: he hath taken a bag of money with him,and will come home at the day appointed. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart;neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread:and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Men do not despise a thief,if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding:he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

Proverbs 8:1 Doth not wisdom cry?and understanding put forth her voice?

Proverbs 8:5 O ye simple, understand wisdom:and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Proverbs 8:32-36 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children:for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me,watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:all they that hate me love death.

Proverbs 9:1-6 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: she hath killed her beasts;she hath mingled her wine;she hath also furnished her table. She hath sent forth her maidens:she crieth upon the highest places of the city, Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither:as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. Forsake the foolish, and live;and go in the way of understanding.

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Proverbs 9:13-18 A foolish woman is clamorous:she is simple, and knoweth nothing. For she sitteth at the door of her house,on a seat in the high places of the city, to call passengers who go right on their ways: Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither:and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knoweth not that the dead are there;and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. King James Version (KJV)

Revelation 17:1-6 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Rev 17:17-18 KJV
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Revelation 18:1-4 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Revelation 2:18-22 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

  1. God has warned me of spiritual unfaithfulness through dreams of adultery more than once. The false teaching is so rampant throughout the visible church that it is so difficult to avoid it. God bless us with genuine love of His word and dependence upon His Holy Spirit as we seek to honor and glorify Christ. God bless us.
